We understand that healthcare expenses play an important role in your choice to get the treatment you need or to put it off. Our goal is to empower you with honest and reliable treatment cost information to help you plan for your care.

The cost of each individual’s neuropathy treatment varies and depends on a number of different factors. Some of those factors include: how long symptoms have been present, severity of nerve damage, severity of associated structural damage, onset of symptoms, exposure to toxins, and specific type of symptoms. Most neuropathy sufferers deal with some combination of numbness, tingling, pain, cramping, stiffness, burning sensation in their feet or hands, and balance problems. Symptoms that are more advanced will naturally require more care than symptoms that are less advanced. It is important to note that Peripheral Neuropathy is a progressive condition. Generally, it will start in the toes, ball of the foot, or forefoot, then become noticeable in the other foot until symptoms ultimately engulf the feet and start to advance up the ankles and the legs.

Depending on the variables discussed above, a patient in our Neuropathy Treatment Program can expect their care to range between $2500 – $7500 for the entirety of their treatment. These values represent the low-end and the high-end, respectively, with the vast majority of treatment plans falling somewhere in the middle. As an added benefit to serve patients of all income levels, we offer a number of interest-free financing options for the portion of care that insurance may not cover, so every patient suffering with these debilitating symptoms may be able to access the care they need and get their quality of life back.

Insurance

Cigna, United, Humana, Aetna, BCBS, etc.

As you might imagine, there is no black and white answer for this. There are literally thousands of different plans between the major insurance providers. Depending on deductibles and other plan specifics, we have patients who receive up to 80% reimbursement and others who receive nothing. We will perform a complimentary benefits check prior to services being rendered and let you know what coverage you may have. There won’t be any surprise charges before you know this info.

Medicare with or without a Supplement:

Depending on the type and number of recommended treatments for your Neuropathy, you can estimate a contribution of around $1000. We utilize the most advanced modalities and powerful therapies to effectively treat neuropathy and Medicare does not cover these therapies. If you wonder why that is; please read the following excerpt from the Medicare Guidelines:

Medicare Guidelines, Section 2251.3

“A treatment plan that seeks to prevent disease, promote health, and prolong and enhance the quality of life; or therapy that is performed to maintain or prevent deterioration of a chronic condition is deemed not medically necessary.”

Medicaid and Tricare: Currently these programs offer no coverage or reimbursement for our treatment.

Still on the Fence? Consider Your Standard Medical Treatment Options

Nod your head if this sounds familiar. You are experiencing some combination of numbness, tingling, pain, burning, cramping, and you present to your primary physician. They tell you take some pills, as usual. If you’re one of the lucky ones, it helps a little bit. For most, it simply doesn’t help. You return to your primary physician to explain and what is their suggestion? Either they increase the dosage of your prescription, recommend one of the other drugs listed above, or refer you to a neurologist.

So you think; “Surely the neurologist will be able to help.” You’re hopeful. Possibly they recommend an MRI. Then one of the things they may do is a Nerve Conduction study. It’s not comfortable, and for many it can be painful. One result comes back that “you’re nerves are normal”, but clearly, as you’re the one living with neuropathy, you know they are not “normal”. The other result is to tell you they ‘aren’t at 100%’. Obviously. But what can he do about it?

Here is where the scary part comes in… we have seen hundreds of patients who have arrived to this point and are subsequently just given even more medication, higher doses, told they just have to learn to live with… that there is “No Cure” for Neuropathy, and some have even been referred for spine surgery. Alternate versions of this story may include calf injections, topical creams, and even ankle surgery.

If this sounds familiar it’s because we see it every day in our practice. Our Neuropathy Treatment Program is different. It is painless, comprehensive, and highly effective for such a difficult-to-treat condition. Schedule your Consultation today. It just may change your life.
